Professional Experience
Catherine has worked for Plan Projects as an advising curator since 2004, assisting the business with sourcing and managing artists for public art and cultural projects. Catherine also involved with programming the exhibitions and events for the Fishmarket in Northampton as well as maintaining an artistic and curatorial practice.
Independent projects include (Now that would be) Telling working with five stately homes across the UK with artist Hayley Lock and contemporary writers and she is a founding editor of Beyond, a magazine and distribution network from the East of England. Catherine is an Arts Council England Escalator Artist.
From 2005-2008 Catherine was a curator at Contemporary Art Centre in Vilnius and has travelled extensively across central and eastern Europe. She has also curated exhibitions in Belgrade, Berlin, Bury St Edmunds, Bedford and London and has lectured and written for catalogues and journals across Europe. She has been curator in residence in the Netherlands and in 2011 is participating in the GeoArt residency in Tbilisi, Georgia.
