Plan Projects has been commissioned by The Junction, owner of the new Wembley Retail Park, to develop a series of projects with local schools that are of direct relevance and benefit to the people of Brent. Artwork created by local students will be exhibited for periods of three months in the dedicated public ‘art zone’ in the POD, which is a specially designed retail and community focused building on the retail park. Plan projects has been commissioned by Squire and Partners to develop a public art strategy for the Lanterns Court site on the Isle of Dogs. Lanterns Court itself was conceived in 1984/5 as part of the London Docklands Development Corporation’s master-plan for the area, and now forms a good example of the Docklands area’s on going capacity for re-invention and regeneration. 25/04/06 The Crown Estate New Burlington Place installation |
|
|
Plan has now successful installed Michael Bleyenberg’s Burlington Flare at New Burlington Place off Regent’s Street. Installation took place over a two-day period and was carried out by the artist working in conjunction with Atkins, the highways consultancy. Read more |
