Plan Projects has been commissioned to produce a Public Art Strategy for Wycombe District Council for High Wycombe, Marlow and Princes Risborough.
Plan Projects has been commissioned to produce a Public Art Strategy for Wycombe District Council. This will provide a strategy not only for the regional hub town of High Wycombe, but for the entire district, including the important settlements of Marlow and Princes Risborough.
Sites of major change in Wycombe include the former furniture making district in the Desborough area of the town, an area that retains quality industrial building stock
Our work has not only involved careful desk based research into Wycombe District Council’s development policies and a review of all the key regeneration sites in the district, but also the delivery of a comprehensive consultation process involving different community groups within Wycombe.

This Public Art Strategy will be incorporated into the suite of documents, along with the Local Development Framework core strategy and supplementary guidance documents, that will govern the Council’s approach to planning and inform developers of the Council’s requirements.
